A sculpture called Redwood I at Laumeier
After spending some time there, we headed to see the SLU men's soccer team play for homecoming weekend. The match was awesome and we went on to win 3-0. Halftime was also cool as they had fireworks to celebrate the hundred years of the Billiken, the SLU mascot.

GOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!
After the game, we headed to Vito's, an Italian place with great pizza. I relaxed, enjoyed great food with a great friend, and thought of the day I had just had. Great weekends like that don't happen that often, and boy did I enjoy it. I can only hope that maybe the next one I have, I will be able to enjoy it while holding someones hand and holding them close as the night gets colder. Either way, great weekends are simply awesome.
Love ya guys, have a great Monday. :)
P.S. That was on Saturday and it helps to fill you in on the other days lol. The rest of the weekend I was able to drive around in my car. When I found a place I wanted to stop at, I just stopped and relaxed. Very cool. I also was able to make a pretty kick ass dinner for me and a friend which was really tasty. Later today I'm gonna head to the Zoo and enjoy my last of 5 days off before I head back to work Tuesday night. Gonna take my camera and get some get pictures for the next blog.

Awesome, Josh. Nothing beats a weekend like that... except maybe the awareness itself that it was such a great weekend. Great for you!
Sounds like a good time. I added you to the MTM list.
So can you spend the day wandering around the pieces of art?? Looks like good fun
Sounds like a great time. Is the sculpture made from stone?
Sounds nice and relaxing. I love the idea of just stopping whenever you see something of interest.
